The group owns 2 marquees, small and large, and offers them for hire. This is the small one. Parents help raise funds by joining the teams which put them up. Stage 1 - getting the main poles up, and the canvas on top is a trade secret.

The top is up and beginning to take shape. Once the top is up: the sides are stretched out, supported on poles and pegged into place.

Sides are positioned with gaps to provide access where required for the particular event. This usually calls for someone in charge to make an executive decission and can take ages....

Nearly there now - about an hour to do this.

Done. At this stage the day's occupants arive and set up their tea urn etc. We usually help test it. If you are really lucky it will be a beer tent for the day.
